Early Learning Leaders (formerly known as EA Leadership Meeting)

February 28 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free

The Early Achievers Leadership Team Meetings are back with a new name and a fresh purpose. Now called the Early Learning Leaders, our focus will be on emerging issues in early learning. Based on feedback from a group of childcare owners and directors who have regularly attended Leadership Team meetings, the most important topic identified was how to influence the policies, rules, and laws that affect the business of childcare.

New model: Community of practice, facilitated by members of this group.   Informative presentations, forums and collaborative discussions with continued action steps; for continuous quality improvement.  STARS hours will not be provided.

  • February  28th Details: Advocating for Early Learning in Washington State. Learn about the state legislative process, bills that affect early learning, and how you can have a voice. The legislature is currently “in session” and making decisions daily that affect us all. More voices make a bigger impact. We plan to record brief videos to send to your legislators. You will leave with a plan of action for your next step in advocacy.
