Born Learning Northeast Washington
A public engagement campaign, Born Learning Northeast Washington provides important information to parents and families about what young children need everyday to ensure quality learning. Babies are born learning. Early experiences shape a child's lifelong ability to learn and relate to others. Quality early learning is the key to thriving communities and economies and prepares chrildren to do better in school. We aim to ensure that children are healthy and ready for school and life by promoting the 5 Key Ideas for New Parents:
- Understand and respond to your baby's needs.
- Take care of yourself.
- Talk, sing and read to your child.
- Create a predictable world.
- Provide a warm and loving environment.
