Integrated Access

Integrated Access supports people in need by linking them to community services, such as healthcare access, childcare assistance, Social Security benefits planning, legal assistance, and low-income support services. Through a network of collaborating Eastern Washington community partners, clients gain access to multiple services through a single point of contact. For example, when a person calls requesting healthcare access and also needed childcare assistance, we can direct them to another service provider that will help with their secondary issue.

Our current partners include Spokane Neighbor Action Programs, The Center for Justice. Fifteen new partner programs will join the current group during the initial two years of the grant from the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation.

As a capacity-building project facilitated by Community-Minded Enterprises, we are working to improve the network and effectiveness of these community services. By 2010, we will also offer an adaptable model for other communities to use as a method of linking responsive and accountable community partners across various continuums of opportunity and care.
