Ecological Master Planning

"Helping to create a more sustainable built environment through integrated solutions."

Ecological Master Planning approaches the development of our built environment by taking a systems approach. Beyond traditional master planning services, we look to integrate relationships between the needs of community, the vision of stakeholders, strategies for sustainable and low-impact development, and overall economic well-being.

Master Planning is an integral first step toward the successful implementation of a project. In broad terms, it is a synthesis of both the functional and technical needs of a project, while at the same time providing the owner with a clear definition of the project's overall concept and direction, and an informed budget number on which to base future development decisions.

Inherent to our systems approach is an assessment on the impacts of decisions made today related to both building development and future operating costs, and the real costs these choices have on future community sustainability and resiliency.

We offer:

  • Systems Facility Program Development
  • Coordination and Facilitation of Community Visioning Process
  • Building and Operating Life Cycle Analysis
  • Carbon Free Development Strategies
  • Sustainable Economic Development Strategy
  • Green Material Selection and Re-Utilization Strategies
