Gain insight into new ways to understand challenging behaviors. Learn relationship‐based strategies to respond to children’s social emotional needs for safe\, secure relationships in the classroom\, a necessary ingredient for learning. \nYou will: \n\nExplore the importance of teachers in children’s lives and the central role relationships play in learning\nLearn how to respond to challenging behaviors in ways that enhance security in the relationship\nPractice observation and reflection skills\nLearn to use the COSP Classroom graphic and other practical classroom applications and strategies\nApply COSP Classroom to strengthen relationships and support children’s attachment needs\nLearn to apply COSP Classroom strategies to create relationship friendly classrooms\n\n  \nThis training is being offered for providers on the waitlist who are participating in tier 1 mental health consultation. Registration will be prioritized for these individuals.
