SUMMARY:Let’s Play! Learning to love the ‘M’ in STEM
DESCRIPTION:Community-Minded Enterprises (CME) and Northeast Washington Educational Services District (NEWESD 101)\, in partnership with Washington STEM\, offer engaging professional learning opportunities for early learning educators who teach children from birth to eight years old. \nThis in-person program is designed to create a supportive environment where educators can connect\, learn together\, and apply new knowledge in their family homes and classrooms. Through two three-hour in-person sessions\, participants will explore early numeracy concepts through interactive activities\, books\, and game play. \nYou’ll develop an action plan for implementation\, with time allocated between sessions to put it into practice. Your progress will be documented through photos and notes\, helping refine and enhance teaching strategies. \n\nOctober 19\, 2024 / 9:00am – 12:00pm\nNovember 9\, 2024 / 9:00am – 12:00pm\n\n** Attendance for both sessions is required and partial STAR hours will not be offered. \nThis is a LEVEL 2 training and you will receive 8 STARS or CLOCK hours after completion of this course.
