Fundamentals of Performance: Practical Tools and Technique for Actors, Influencers, and Public Speakers
Join us in a weekly workshop series on the Fundamentals of Performance. Each week our instructor Jeremey Catterton, will lead students through exercises focused on fundamental techniques.
This is a four week workshop beginning Tuesday, May 4, and continuing weekly through May 25, 2021.
7:00pm – 10:00pm each Tuesday in our downtown studio.
$200 for the full session – (Students can also purchase single classes as long as they are in chronological order. eg: attend Week 1 and Week 2, but not mix and matching sessions such as purchasing with Week 1 and Week 4 as these classes are progressive. About The Teacher:
Jeremey Catterton is a filmmaker, writer, educator, fine artist and active member of the SAG-AFTRA union.
In addition to being a working actor in New York City, from 2010-14 Catterton was a managing curator for Off-Broadway’s The Tank, to later become the President of Brooklyn’s Brick Theater (2015). Formed in Minneapolis, Jeremey was the founding artistic director of experimental theater company Lamb Lays with Lion (2007-16), as well as co-director of the UK theatre collective, Collision from (2005-07). After graduating from the Interlochen Arts Academy with an emphasis in theater, in 2004 Jeremey received his BFA in actor training from the Guthrie Theatre and University of Minnesota, to then later study post graduate work at Sarah Lawrence University/The Kitchen and Middlesex University, London for his MA in directing (2006). Also, he is a Taoist who breathes fire, plus the lyricist for Five Fingers Make a Fist.
