Hands Across the Falls – Virtual Celebration

September 28

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 12:00 am on Monday, repeating until September 29, 2020

Please join us for our 4th annual event celebrating recovery in our community. Hands Across the Falls is a public show of support for those in recovery and those who are still battling addictions as well as a time to honor those who have been lost to their addictions.

Due to current health restrictions and upcoming construction projects, we’ll be doing things just a little differently this year. This year’s event is going virtual.  Instead of gathering for an afternoon, we’ll spread the enthusiasm and joy for recovery across the entire month. September is National Recovery Month so what better way to show off our Spokane Recovery Community.
Participation is easy, just snap a photo of your self with one of our signs. We’ll be creating a photo and video album of all submissions to share and celebrate.
Chose your reason… are you celebrating recovery, whether your own or a loved one, are you honoring someone who lost a battle with addiction or are you an ally of our recovery community? No matter your WHY, we are excited to see your faces and show just how strong the Spokane Recovery Community really is!
Click on a link above for a free downloadable sign showing your support, then…

* SNAP A PIC – take a selfie, take photos of your friends, family and neighbors who support recovery

** POST & TAG US – use our event hashtags #HandsAcrosstheFalls and #HATF2020 so we can find your photos on Instagram and Facebook

*** SEND IT TO US – email your photos, handsacrossthefalls@community-minded.org, let us share it for you

Follow along and see photo submissions
