The importance of parent engagement in their child’s education and parental leadership is also discussed. \nSession 2 & 3: Focuses on how parents take on the role of leaders in the home by practicing family values\, establishing good communication\, employing positive discipline\, goal setting\, and achieving a family action plan. \nSession 4: Parents will explore how their child’s language develops. Also\, parent’s critical role in the language development of their children and the advantages of bilingualism will be discussed.\nSession 5: Parents will gain awareness of the importance of reading to their children at an early age. \nSession 6: Parents will learn the importance of balanced nutrition and exercise. Priority given to first-time attendees. 1 ticket per site only (FCC or Center).\nhe Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) are easy‑to‑use tools that help check young children’s development and social‑emotional skills from birth to age 6. ASQ uses parents’ knowledge to identify children’s strengths and areas where extra support may be needed. This in‑person training shows participants how to use ASQ‑3 and ASQ:SE‑2 to support early screening and positive communication with families for children birth through age five. \nAll are welcome; owners and directors are especially encouraged to attend for the whole-site impact\, one person per site \n
