SUMMARY:PACE Module 1: Reflective Teaching
DESCRIPTION:Registration closes 9/7/22 \nWhat? This module is part of PACE (Provider Access to a Community Equivalent). PACE is one of several options to meet the licensing requirement for an initial and short certificate. To learn more about other options and see which one is right for you\, visit the DCYF website HERE and scroll down to “Equivalents.” You can also find information about PACE HERE. \nModule 1: Reflective Teaching is intended to be taken after completion of Child Care Basics\, EQEL Year 1\, and EQEL Year 2. This module includes 3 live webinars. In addition to joining all three live webinars\, PACE includes additional work in-between webinars. If you need the initial certificate (or equivalent) to meet WAC education requirements for your role and desire to participate in this module\, please register below for PACE Module 1: Reflective Teaching. \nWhen? You must attend the three webinar dates listed AND complete the independent job-embedded work. The module 1 webinars will be on 9/14\, 10/12\, and 11/9. Registering for this webinar registers you for all of the webinars in module 1. \nWho? PACE participation is designed for early learning providers who need the Washington State ECE Initial or Short Certificate for their role. This includes family home licensees\, lead teachers\, and assistant teachers. This equivalent option is not available for other early learning roles\, for Early Achievers Professional Development points\, or for ECEAP providers currently. \n  \nA few days before the training\, you will receive an email with the link to join the Zoom. This is separate from the automatically-generated email you receive right after registration. If you cannot find the email with the link\, check your junk folder. Sometimes they are sent there. \nWe would like everyone who attends our trainings to have the opportunity to benefit from their learning. If you require accommodations to fully participate\, please contact professionaldevelopment@community-minded.org at least one week in advance of the training.\nTo view training policies\, including the late arrival and cancellation policies\, please click here.
