The Growing Brain: Everyday Play

July 13, 2019 @ 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM

In this half-day of training, you will learn about the stages of play that unfold in early childhood, you will explore the role of the brain in this process, and you will discuss how to maximize children’s learning through play.

This series developed Zero to Three looks at the neuroscience of the developing brain. The developing and growing brain is one of the most important topics in early childhood development, as experiences in the first years of life actually shape the architecture and functioning of the brain. It’s the basic day-to-day experiences, be they nurturing or not, that set a child on his course of brain development for life. Clearly, this is an essential topic!
