The Growing Brain: The Basics of Brain Development & The Factors Affecting Brain Growth and Development

February 23 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

100$ - 250$

A NEW AND EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR INFANT AND TODDLER TEACHERS…

This series developed Zero to Three looks at the neuroscience of the developing brain. The developing and growing brain is one of the most important topics in early childhood development, as experiences in the first years of life actually shape the architecture and functioning of the brain. It’s the basic day-to-day experiences, be they nurturing or not, that set a child on his course of brain development for life. Clearly, this is an essential topic!

This training, designed especially for infant and toddler teachers and delivered by certified Zero to Three trainers, will help you to dive more deeply into important topics relating to brain development and how it relates to you, the caregiver. This training is designed to either be taken as a single-day training (7 hours) or as a series (24.5 hours).

This month we will develop an understanding of how the brain grows and develops from conception to 5 years old. Then we will explore the key factors that affect brain development and how to support healthy overall brain development.
