SUMMARY:Sensational Me- Sensory Processing Disorder
DESCRIPTION:Core Competences: Child Growth and Development Level 1-3 \nTrainer: Brandy Greenhalgh \nSTARS Hours: 2 \nDescription: \nExplore and understand more about the hot topic of sensory processing and how the brain receives and responds to information that comes in through the senses. Because your brain uses information about sights\, sounds\, textures\, smells\, tastes\, and movement in an organized way\, you assign meaning to your sensory experiences\, and you know how to respond and behave accordingly. Learn about how people use the information provided by all the sensations coming from within the body and from the external environment and how they actually work together to give us a reliable picture of the world and our place in it. \nDue to the current circumstances\, this training will be offered on Zoom for a reduced price. A few days before the training\, you will receive an email with the link to join the Zoom. This is separate from the automatically-generated email you receive right after registration. If you cannot find the email with the link\, check your junk folder. Sometimes they are sent there. View the training policies here.
