In this engaging in person 5-hour STARS training, participants will explore how meeting children’s developmental, social-emotional, and cultural needs lays the foundation for positive behavior, meaningful engagement, and successful learning. Grounded in NAEYC’s updated Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) framework and Trauma informed practices, this training examines practical strategies for individualizing support within group settings while building strong, responsive relationships with children and families. Through discussion, reflection, and real-world application, participants will learn how to create inclusive learning environments where children feel valued, supported, and ready to learn. Educators will leave with practical tools to foster positive behaviors, strengthen relationships, and support each child’s unique path to success.
