How We Can Help

CME offers a broad continuum of community supports, treatment services, housing and employment navigation, and identity affirming programs that help individuals build stability at their own pace. Our services are available across Spokane, Newport, and Pasco, ensuring people can access support close to their communities.
We focus on connection, consistency, and long term recovery. Each program links to others within CME, creating a network of support that strengthens recovery capital and reduces isolation.

CME Recovery Cafe

Find Your Community

Community-Minded Recovery Café is a place for those overcoming addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges to come together. Our members understand your journey and offer genuine empathy and encouragement.

Who is the Recovery Café for?

We believe in the power of compassion and second chances. Our community is open to all individuals committed to their personal growth and recovery. Join us for lunch or latte hour, chat with members, and learn more about what we do! Want to know more? Click the button below to connect with one of our Recovery Cafes!

Weekly Recovery Circles

Recovery Circles are regular, facilitated group gatherings where members come together to check in, share, and support one another. These circles create structure, encouragement, and accountability while allowing each person to show up exactly where they are in their recovery.

Shared Meals & Community Events

At the Café, meals are shared around the table, not served across one. Eating together and gathering for community events helps build real connections, reduce isolation, and create a sense of belonging that many people are missing when they arrive.

A Trauma Informed Environment

The Café is designed to be a safe, respectful, and welcoming space. Everyone here understands that trauma is part of many recovery journeys, and members are treated with dignity, care, and compassion at all times.

Classes & Activities

Classes and activities give members opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence, and create healthy routines. From employment-focused training to creative and educational options, these programs support personal growth alongside recovery.

Child Care Assistance Program

Child Care That Supports Recovery

Access to child care shouldn’t be a barrier to recovery.

The Child Care Assistance Program provides free, high quality child care for parents and primary caregivers participating in outpatient treatment programs. CCAP connects you to licensed child care providers so you can attend appointments, groups, and treatment with peace of mind. While you focus on your recovery, your child receives safe, developmentally appropriate care in an environment that supports their growth.

If you are interested in our CCAP Program, have your treatment counselor complete the CCAP Enrollment form. Once that is completed, parents will need to submit a CCAP Parent Registration Form. From there, our Family Navigation team assists with creating customized childcare plans, connecting families to licensed providers, and arranging additional support like child development screenings and resource referrals.
