Mental health matters.
So does having the right support.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, or big life changes, we are here to help.
How We Can Help

Substance Use Disorder Assessments
Professional assessments that help identify needs, determine appropriate care, and connect individuals to the right level of support.

Outpatient Treatment
Flexible treatment services that support recovery while allowing individuals to continue daily responsibilities.

Intensive Outpatient
Structured, higher level support for individuals who need more frequent care while remaining connected to home, work, family, or community.
Support That Meets You Where You Are
When you are ready for support, it should be clear where to start and what comes next. CME’s Behavioral Health services help individuals understand their needs, explore available care options, and connect with a level of support that fits their situation.
Whether you are starting with an assessment, looking for outpatient services, or need more structured support, CME provides care that is respectful, practical, and focused on helping you move forward. Our role is to make the process easier to understand and help you access support that feels steady, useful, and connected to your life.
SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER ASSESSMENTS
A First Step Toward the Right Support
A Substance Use Disorder assessment helps determine whether treatment may be recommended and what level of care best fits a person’s needs. Assessments are completed by trained professionals who take time to understand each individual’s situation, history, current challenges, and goals.
An assessment is a starting point for clarity. Whether an assessment is needed for personal reasons, a referral, court requirements, employment concerns, or another next step, CME helps individuals move through the process with professionalism, respect, and clear guidance.
When an Assessment May Be Needed
An SUD assessment may be helpful or required when someone is:
- Seeking substance use treatment or recovery support
- Responding to a court, legal, or referral requirement
- Trying to better understand their substance use
- Looking for guidance on next steps
- Re-entering care after a lapse or period away from treatment
- Working toward greater stability in daily life
What to Expect
During an assessment, a provider will ask questions about substance use, health history, daily life, current concerns, criminal history, and support needs. This information helps determine whether treatment is recommended and what type of care may be most appropriate.
After the assessment, individuals receive recommendations and information about next steps. If treatment through CME is a good fit, our team can help explain available options. If another provider or level of care is more appropriate, we can help point individuals in the right direction.

What Happens in Outpatient?
CME’s outpatient treatment services focus on practical recovery skills, personal goals, relapse prevention, emotional wellness, and building support systems that strengthen long-term stability. Treatment may include individual counseling, group sessions, care coordination, and connection to additional community resources.
What Outpatient Treatment Can Support
Outpatient treatment may help individuals who are:
Beginning their recovery journey
Continuing treatment after completing a higher level of care
Working to prevent relapse
Balancing recovery with work, school, parenting, or other responsibilities
Looking for ongoing accountability and support
Building healthier routines, coping skills, and support networks
Support that goes beyond the clinic
Recovery is rarely about one issue alone. Substance use can be connected to stress, trauma, mental health, housing, employment, relationships, and other parts of life. CME’s approach recognizes that treatment is most effective when people are supported as full individuals, not just by a diagnosis or referral.
Our team works with each person to create a treatment plan that reflects their needs, strengths, and goals. The focus is on steady progress, realistic strategies, and support that can continue beyond a single appointment or program requirement.
OUTPATIENT SUBSTANCE USE TREATMENT
Recovery Support That Fits Into Daily Life
Outpatient treatment provides structured support for individuals working toward recovery while continuing to live at home and maintain daily responsibilities. This level of care can be a good fit for people who need regular treatment services but do not require a more intensive or residential setting.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment
More Structure, More Support
Intensive Outpatient Treatment, often called IOP, provides a higher level of care for individuals who need more support than standard outpatient treatment. IOP offers more frequent and structured services while allowing participants to remain connected to their home, work, family, and community.
This level of care can be especially helpful for individuals who are experiencing increased challenges, stepping down from residential or inpatient treatment, or needing additional support to maintain recovery. IOP provides consistency, accountability, and connection during a critical stage of change.

The goal of IOP is to help participants strengthen recovery skills, build confidence, reduce risk of relapse, and prepare for continued care at the appropriate level. CME works with each person to support progress in a way that is clear, respectful, and grounded in their individual needs.
