Sensational Me- Sensory Processing Disorder (In-person, Spokane)

August 9 @ 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

$10.00

Core Competencies: Child Growth and Development, Levels 1- 3

Trainer: Rebekah Klemke

STARS: 2

Description:

Explore and understand more about the hot topic of sensory processing and how the brain receives and responds to information that comes in through the senses. Because your brain uses information about sights, sounds, textures, smells, tastes, and movement in an organized way, you assign meaning to your sensory experiences, and you know how to respond and behave accordingly. Learn about how people use the information provided by the sensations coming from within the body and from the external environment and how they actually work together to give us a reliable picture of the world and our place in it.

We would like everyone who attends our trainings to have the opportunity to benefit from their learning. If you require accommodations to fully participate, please contact professionaldevelopment@community-minded.org at least one week in advance of the training.
