We need people to come down to the Spokane City Council meeting on Monday October 27th from 6:00 – 6:15pm and show our city council members how important this resource truly is to our community. If you can’t make it on Monday but still want to show your support then simply send us an email CMTV@ community-minded.org in support and we will take them with us to the meeting.
What to be on TV? Have you ever wanted to have your own TV show? Guess what you can! CMTV14 is your TV station! We have a studio, cameras, lights, mics and expertise all for you!
Who we are: CMTV14 was founded in 2007 as a nonprofit TV station. CMTV14 can be found on Comcast channel 14 in the greater Spokane area with a reach of over 107,000 households.

What we offer:
Access: Any individual, nonprofit, government agency, or church can create and submit a program, public service announcement or video for broadcast. Submissions rates are $10 to $15 to cover handling and processing. Submissions are free with membership.
Membership: If you’re planning on making a regular show, this is the way to go. You get to use our studio regularly, attend classes, and check out equipment, also your shows get first priority for airtime scheduling. Successful Aging in the Northwest: A new series which debuted in June designed specifically for people in Spokane 55 and older. This is a community service television program packed with information on everything from healthy living to money management.
Diversity Matters: This program to supports, encourages and promotes all efforts in building inclusive, equitable and diverse communities by expanding the impact of these efforts throughout the Inland Northwest. Currently in production
Intro to Your Digital Camera: Learn how to use a camera and shoot great video.
Intro to Final Cut Pro: Learn how to edit with Final Cut Pro, an industry standard.
Intro to Imovie: Video editing is easy with this simple to use program. We’ll show you how to create great programs with just a few mouse clicks.
Share Your Movie: Learn how to use social media such as YouTube and Facebook to get your video online.
Producing Video: Learn the basics to getting a video ready for broadcast.
Intro to TV Production: Learn the basics of TV production. You’ll have the chance to get hands on with lights, cameras, and audio gear.
Shooting Cell Phone Video: Learn the best way to create high-quality video using your smart phone. We’ll also show you how to upload it to YouTube or other video services.
