Community-Minded Enterprises Expands Family Tuition Assistance Grant

Community-Minded Enterprises (CME) and its program Community-Minded Television (CMTV) are excited to announce a new partnership with Northeast Youth and Family Services (NEYFS).

NEYFS and CMTV’s Video Studio

With technical and equipment assistance from CME and CMTV, NEYFS is launching the Spokane Art & Tech Institute (SATI) SATI is a center for children and youth to learn creative technology and media program in a fun, professional, and accessible environment.

Programs will develop unique training for youth and re-entry communities, focusing on creative excellence, mentorship, and pathways to jobs and higher education. Social, emotional learning, collaboration, and anti-racist practices will be the foundation of this new program.

NEYFS will hire local teaching artists and collaborate with local organizations to include local voices and influences whenever possible.

Students will have the option of having their productions shown on air via CMTV14, a Comcast channel.

A sample of available classes includes:

NEYFS and CMTV’s Podcast Studio
