A Social-Emotional Approach to Biting

May 10, 2022 @ 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

$10.00

Core Competences: Curriculum and Learning Environment, Families and Community Partnerships, Levels 1-3

Trainer: Rebekah Klemke

Description:

Please join us as we dive deep into taking a social emotional approach to biting. Biting brings up so many emotions for everyone involved and is a developmentally appropriate behavior for infants and toddlers. During our time together we will focus on the many reasons why biting occurs, ways to stay calm and curious when it happens, and strategies for how to respond. Throughout the training, participants will reflect on questions and skills that will guide them in creating an action plan and communicating with families.

A few days before the training, you will receive an email with the link to join the Zoom. This is separate from the automatically-generated email you receive right after registration. If you cannot find the email with the link, check your junk folder. Sometimes they are sent there.
We would like everyone who attends our trainings to have the opportunity to benefit from their learning. If you require accommodations to fully participate, please contact professionaldevelopment@community-minded.org at least one week in advance of the training.
