Executive Function: The Brain’s Air Traffic Control

Why are some children able to ignore distractions, stop impulses, sustain attention, and hold information in working memory? The answer is executive function. In this training participants will learn how early brain development impacts children’s ability to self-regulate. Information on executive
functions skills and how teachers can support these skills in the classroom will be presented. You will earn 2 STARS hours.
