Supporting Dual Language Learners (Zoom)
Supporting Dual Language Learners: Learn practices to support children who speak a language other than English. Earn in-service (STARS) hours and receive an educational kit that includes books, educational toys and other learning materials to use in the classroom. This training is designed for childcare providers that speak English but work with children who speak other languages. You will learn about the importance of culture in the acquisition of language, the benefits of learning more than one language, and how to support language development for all children.

- Credits: 12 STARS hours total, all 4 sessions must be attended to get credit, partial credit is not available
