Access to child care shouldn’t be a barrier to recovery.

The Child Care Assistance Program provides families in outpatient recovery services with access to quality, free child care. By removing financial barriers and connecting families to trusted child care providers, CCAP helps parents focus on their recovery while ensuring their children thrive in safe, supportive environments.

Comprehensive Childcare Solutions for Every Stage
CCAP provides families with access to a variety of childcare options tailored to the age and needs of their children:

 

  • Infant care for children as young as six weeks.

  • Toddler programs designed for exploration and growth.

  • Preschool options that prepare children for school readiness.

  • School-age care, including before- and after-school programs.

Getting Started With CCAP

Parents/Primary Care Givers in the Spokane and surrounding areas may qualify for CCAP if:

  • They are actively participating in Substance Use Disorder Treatment or Outpatient Recovery Services

  • They have children 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

If you are interested in our CCAP Program, have your treatment counselor complete the CCAP Enrollment form. Once that is completed, parents will need to submit a CCAP Parent Registration Form. From there, our Family Navigation team assists with creating customized childcare plans, connecting families to licensed providers, and arranging additional support like child development screenings and resource referrals.

Monthly communication with treatment counselors ensures that parents remain eligible and receive continued support.
