Started in 2017, Hands Across the Falls is an annual event hosted by Recovery Cafe Spokane to celebrate National Recovery Month.  Our cafe members, staff, volunteers, and community supporters, gather in downtown Spokane.  Hundreds of people, linking arms and holding hands to show support and strength for the recovery community.  We observe a moment of silence and reflection to honor those who have lost battles to addiction while also celebrating those who are thriving in recovery.

Sign up now to participate. Everyone who registers by July 30, 2021, will receive a Hands Across the Falls t-shirt.

The recovery community in Spokane is strong and vibrant.  If you are in recovery, have a friend or family member who is struggling, or are a community member who supports recovery efforts, please join us.  Everyone is welcome and invited to attend.

In 2021 our event moves to the North Channel Bridge, located on the north end of Spokane’s iconic Riverfront Park, near the new Ice-Age Playground.  Opening ceremonies begin at 2:00 pm with a prayer from Pastor Danny Green of Family Faith Community Church.   We will once again have a resource fair from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm featuring organizations and partners in the recovery community.
