Started in 2017, Hands Across the Falls is an annual event hosted by Recovery Cafe Spokane to celebrate National Recovery Month.  Our cafe members, staff, volunteers and community supporters, gather on the Monroe Street Bridge in downtown Spokane.  Hundreds of people line the bridge, holding hands to show support and strength for the recovery community.  We observe a moment of silence and reflection to honor those who have lost battles to addiction while also celebrating those who are thriving in recovery.

The recovery community in Spokane is strong and vibrant.  If you are in recovery, have a friend or family member who is struggling or are a community member who supports recovery efforts, please join us.  Everyone is welcome and invited to attend.

Recovery Cafe Spokane holds an information and resource fair immediately following the event.  We host community partners focused on recovery, health and wellness and family services.    If you are a community organization or business and would like to participate in the event, please contact Christine McMackin, Cafe Manager at Recovery Cafe Spokane,
