Started in 2017, Hands Across the Falls is an annual event hosted by Recovery Cafe Spokane to celebrate National Recovery Month.  Our cafe members, staff, volunteers, and community supporters, gather in downtown Spokane.  Hundreds of people, linking arms and holding hands to show support and strength for the recovery community.  We observe a moment of silence and reflection to honor those who have lost battles to addiction while also celebrating those who are thriving in recovery.

The recovery community in Spokane is strong and vibrant.  If you are in recovery, have a friend or family member who is struggling, or are a community member who supports recovery efforts, please join us.  Everyone is welcome and invited to attend.

** For the past several months the Hands Across the Falls planning committee has been working hard to make this the best event ever. On August 18, the committee, after thoughtful consideration made the decision to shift the event from in-person to virtual. The team looked at the data, and with a desire to keep everyone safe, decided it was best to celebrate recovery month in a socially distanced manner this year. Fortunately, we have experience in virtual events and are poised to move ahead with an online HATF event.  We will begin the process of updating our communication around this event but wanted to let you know of the pivot. Community-Minded Enterprises is committed to the well-being of team members and the community. Our sincere thanks to everyone for their support. **
