Early Achievers

Child Care Aware of Eastern Washington is home to Early Achievers, a statewide system of high-quality early learning.

Early Achievers works with child care centers and family home providers to improve the quality of their programs through Washington State’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS). Early Achievers provides coaching, professional development and resources for providers to support each child’s learning and development.

Child Care Aware of Eastern Washington also provides child care referrals through the Family Center. This free service offers information on finding quality child care,  getting help to pay for child care and resources for families.

Get Coaching

better ratings for your child care business

When you enroll in the Early Achievers program, you will be connected with a coach who will help you submit your child care business to the Washington Rating System (QRIS). The scores range from 1-5, and higher public ratings can lead to more enrollment. Your coach will help advise you on best practices for getting higher scores and be there to answer your specific questions about the evaluation and scoring process.
