Hands Across the Falls – 2019

Our 3rd annual event takes place on September 28, 2019

Join us to celebrate recovery efforts in our area.  We’ll gather at the north end of the Monroe Street Bridge just before noon and line the east side of the bridge with a show of public support for the recovery community.  At noon we’ll honor those who have lost battles with addiction with five minutes of silence.

Immediately following, please visit our information and resource fair on Summit Parkway on the northeast corner of the bridge.

All are invited.  If you are in recovery, have a friend or family member who is struggling or are a community member who supports recovery efforts, please join us.

Recovery Coach Training – Spokane

This training is designed for those interested in promoting the health and wellness of people with substance abuse disorders.  Learn to help remove barriers and obstacles to recovery for those seeing or already in recovery.

This FREE training will be held over four days at Recovery Cafe Spokane.  Meals will not be provided during this training but you are welcome to bring your own.

  • Friday, October 19: 3:00 – 9:00pm
  • Saturday, October 20: 9:00am – 6:00pm
  • Friday, October 26: 3:00 – 9:00pm
  • Saturday, October 27: 9:00am – 6:00pm

Hands Across the Falls – 2018

Join us for the 2nd Annual event, Hands Across the Falls. We’ll gather on the Monroe Street Bridge over the Spokane Falls in a show of public support celebrating recovery. Join hands and show strength and unity for those in recovery.

Due to construction we will gather at the north end of the bridge.  This will be the only staging area.

September is National Recovery Month, help us celebrate the recovery movement. Friends, family, individuals, and organizations are invited to attend. We encourage organizations who support recovery to show their pride, wear shirts with your organization’s logo or bring banners and signs proclaiming your support.

Recovery Coach Training – Burlington

The Recovery Coach Training is designed for those interested in promoting the health and wellness of people with substance abuse disorders. Learn to remove barriers and obstacles to recovery for those seeking or already in recovery.

This is a four day training and you will need to attend all four sessions, held on:

Ethical Considerations in Recovery Coaching

Recovery Cafe Spokane and Access to Recovery will host Ethical Considerations in Recovery Coaching.

This class is designed to help you better understand the ethical considerations in your everyday work as a recovery coach.

  • Understand what ethics are and why they are important to Recovery Coach Services
  • Learn how to stay in your lane as a Recovery Coach
  • Understand the decision making process
  • Develop guidelines for making ethical decisions

This is a FREE training over two days.
