Community-Minded Enterprises welcomes Lee Williams as its new Executive Director
We are pleased to let you know that Lee Williams is the new Executive Director of Community-Minded Enterprises. Lee replaces Kathy Thamm who retired after 14 years with CME.
Lee takes on the job of Executive Director, after nearly five years at CME as the Early Learning Initiative Director, for Child Care Aware of Eastern Washington, a program of Community-Minded Enterprises. She was selected after an extensive search led by the CME Board of Directors.
Lee’s first official day was December 1. Since then she has worked with outgoing Director Kathy Thamm to transition in the new role. The “passing of the torch” is complete, with Lee keeping her office at CME’s Resource Center for Early Learning Professionals on 55th Avenue.
Please welcome Lee to her position. She has an open door policy, so feel free to reach out to her, or anyone on the Administrative Team if you have any questions.
Lee says she is looking forward to continuing the legacy of CME, by building relationships with community partners and growing the organization in the years ahead.
