Building Resilience in Young Children
Building Resilience in Young Children
During this engaging and reflective training, participants will explore how resilience helps young children navigate challenging and traumatic experiences. Emphasis will be placed on the critical role early learning professionals play in creating environments and programs that foster resilience, emotional well-being, and strong developmental foundations. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of early brain development and how different brain states influence children’s behavior, learning, and stress responses. Through guided discussion and practical strategies, attendees will learn how to intentionally support children in building resilience while also strengthening their own capacity for self-care and emotional regulation.
This session encourages meaningful reflection and equips educators with tools to promote nurturing, responsive, and supportive learning environments for all children.
