Building Resilience in Young Children: During this training, participants will explore how resilience helps children navigate difficult and traumatic experiences. We will focus on the role of the early learning professional in developing a program that promotes resilience and discuss appropriate strategies to help children build resilience.

• Identifies causes of stress and trauma, and assesses children’s resiliency
• Follows a variety of positive direct and indirect guidance methods and avoids negative methods
